This hotel conversion consists of a 110,000 SF, 2 6-level towers, 210-room Holiday Inn Resort Hotel.  The property is located in South Padre Island, Texas and was home to the former Schlitterbahn Beach Resort. The water park is connected to the hotel by a tunnel and contains a 9,000 SF rooftop ballroom, an 12,000 SF grand ballroom, a 4,000 SF ballroom and several additional meeting rooms. Finishes include architectural figured woodwork, ceramic floors, custom lighting fixtures, and wall coverings. Other hotel amenities include two full-service restaurants, an 80 seat lobby, a coffee shop and three resort style heated pools.
